Oil Policy and Revenue Management in Iraq: A Master Thesis at the Faculty of Administration & Economics

The Faculty of Administration & Economics at the University of Kufa held the discussion (the Viva Voce) of a master thesis entitled “Oil Policy and Revenue Management in Iraq with Special Reference to United Arab Emirates” by the student Mustafa Rafeeq AlQuraishi. The researcher stated that Oil is considered as an important source of financial revenue and cash income. Its payments are of paramount importance to the economic conditions in Iraq. As a result, it will have a big and great role in the process of rebuilding Iraq. The researcher also noted that the goal of this study is to establish how to use oil revenue to build a base for future oil policy. He added that the United Arab Emirates was able to exploit its oil revenues to achieve economic growth and collecting money to develop the infrastructure and the economic base of the state.
