College of Administration, Administration and Economics participates in the activities of Najaf International Book Fair.

The Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Haider Jassim Al-Jubouri, and Dr. Wissam Nima Rajeeb, responsible of graduate employment unit in the college and a professor in the Department of Accounting, participated in the activities of Najaf International Book Fair in its third session for the period from 8 to 18 February.
The participation included a cultural dialogue symposium entitled “The Iraqi Economy and Digital Transformation: Challenges and Opportunities”.
In this symposium, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Haider Al-Jubouri, discussed the challenges of digital transformation, and the most important challenge is administrative and financial corruption affecting the Iraqi economy, as well as the impact of the economy due to dependence on the oil sector, and also mentioned unemployment rate which is scary as a result of lack of interest in the industrial and agricultural sector, he also discussed postgraduate majors that simulate market trends and mentioned important free courses to give skills to the student so that he has experience in the labor market.

While Dr. Wissam Rajeeb discussed the lack of interest in the faculties of administration and economics, as well as the collapse of the Iraqi economy, and urged Rajeeb to keep up with financial technology, he also mentioned the difference between education and training and that one complements the other to come out with the required expertise, and also talked about the importance of the private sector and technological development and the lack of use of this development.
