The Department of Tourism organized an educational symposium entitled ( Domestic violence and its effect on the behavior of a university students).

The Department of Tourism at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Kufa, organized an educational symposium entitled ( Domestic violence and its effect on the behavior of a university students).
The symposium included a lecture by Dr. Azhar Neama Abdul Zahra, about the phenomenon widespread of domestic violence significantly in our society and the resulting physical, psychological and social damage to the university student.
The symposium aimed to identify the main causes and types of domestic violence and development social relations within the Iraqi family to reduce of this phenomenon.
The symposium recommended the importance of increasing religious awareness, good dealing with family members and craft laws that could limit the phenomenon of domestic violence.
