The College of Administration and Economics holds a scientific symposium entitled (The Impact of Renewable Energies on the Dimensions of Sustainable Development).

The Department of Tourism at the College of Administration and Economics held a scientific symposium entitled (The impact of renewable energies in the dimensions of sustainable development). The symposium aimed to raise awareness of the sustainability of renewable electrical energy and ways to benefit from it, and the symposium included a scientific lecture delivered by Dr. Haider Majeed Abood, in which he touched on the types of renewable and non-renewable energies and identify their types and characteristics, as well as the impact of renewable energies in the dimensions of sustainable development in terms of social, economic and environmental, and the symposium recommended the nessissty to go to development and exploitation of energy sources Renewable and encourage research and studies in this field as well as support and rationalize energy consumption and development staff working in this field.
