To achieve leadership and excellence in education and scientific research in the field of financial and banking sciences, contributing to the preparation of qualified professionals capable of supporting and developing the financial and banking sector and advancing economic development.
Department Mission
The Department seeks to prepare graduates who are academically and professionally qualified in the field of financial and banking sciences through the provision of distinguished educational programs, the promotion of scientific research, and the delivery of consultancy services. This is aimed at meeting labor market needs, serving the community, and supporting the national economy.
Department Objectives
1. To prepare and qualify specialized cadres in financial and banking sciences capable of meeting the needs of the labor market in both the public and private sectors.
2. To develop students’ scientific and practical skills in a manner that enhances their professional competence.
3. To support scientific research through conducting studies and research addressing financial and banking issues.
4. To provide consultancy services and feasibility studies for financial and banking institutions.
5. To contribute to the development of the banking system, financial markets, and the tax sector.
6. To promote financial and banking awareness among members of society.
7. To strengthen scientific collaboration with counterpart departments and institutions at the local and international levels.
