The University of Kufa and the Holy Abbasid Shrine sign a memorandum of understanding to enhance academic cooperation.

The University of Kufa signed a memorandum of understanding with the General Secretariat of the Holy Abbasid Shrine, represented by the Administrative Development Academy of the Department of Development and Sustainable Development, with the aim of enhancing cooperation in the fields of scientific research, training, and academic expertise exchange.

The Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Haider Jasim Al-Jubouri, stated that the signed agreement includes collaboration in scientific publishing, organizing conferences and training workshops, and developing curricula and specializations in line with labor market requirements. It also stipulates coordinating field visits for college students, hosting professors and experts for specialized lectures, and utilizing the expertise of both parties in delivering training courses, thereby fostering academic and practical integration between the two sides.

For his part, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Holy Abbasid Shrine, Engineer Abbas Mousa Ahmed, emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise with the University of Kufa, considering it one of the prestigious universities in Iraq.

This agreement reflects the University of Kufa’s commitment to building productive academic and professional partnerships, contributing to the development of academic and training programs and enhancing the quality of education and research in Iraq.
