The Faculty of Administration and Economics participates at the Standing Committee’s meeting for the preparation of the strategic plan at the University of Kufa.

The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Professor Dr. Ahmed Jassim Al-Yasiri, and Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, a professor from the Department of Economics, participated at the Standing Committee’s meeting for the preparation of the strategic plan at the University of Kufa. The committee held its first meeting headed by Professor Dr. Yasir Lafta Hassoun, President of the University, who emphasized the nessissty to adhere by timelines for plan fulfilment and urged the faculty members to intensify publication in international journals.
It is noteworthy that the meeting was attended by the Assistant President of the university for Scientific Affairs Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Haddabi, also the heads of the departments, and a number of faculty members at the university, who discussed the most important themes of the strategic plan were teaching, learning, the quality of scientific research and sustainable partnerships, as well as discussing the strategic objectives of the plan, which was the orientation towards digital transformation, activating research groups and benefit from the financial grants available for the development of education.
