The Faculty of Administration and Economics discusses (renewable energy and its role in climate change mitigating in selected countries with special reference to Iraq).

The Faculty of Administration and Economics at the University of Kufa, a master’s thesis was discussed for the student Ali Mahmoud Hadi, entitled (renewable energy and its role in climate change mitigating in selected countries with special reference to Iraq).
The study aimed to clarify the reality and prospects of renewable energy and climate change in the world and Iraq, as well as studying the supply and demand of conventional and renewable energy sources in the world and Iraq, as well as studying the experiences of the sample countries about renewable energy and climate changes.
The study found that the competitiveness of renewable energy sources is improving due to the increase in prices for fossil fuel sources, as well as that the transition to renewable energy sources will not only help addressing climate change, but also will help reduce environmental, water and health pollution.
The study recommended that more investments needed in the field of renewable energy in order to develop and utilized it as it represents a guarantee of security of supply and achievement a sustainable balance, as well as the necessity to move seriously towards renewable energy sources for adoption them as an alternative source to meet the local energy needs in Iraq.
